How a day runs
The full day timetable. The half day program ends after lunch.
- 7:30 - 8:30 Arrival Free play and a calm start. Play time before breakfast for early arrivals.
- 8:30 - 9:00 Breakfast The class lays the table together and children carry their own plates.
- 9:00 - 10:00 Morning circle We plan the day, talk about the weather and the calendar, and read a story.
- 10:00 - 11:00 Workshop Clay, paint, carpentry or music, rotating weekly.
- 11:00 - 12:00 Garden We go out in all weather. On wet days, waterproofs go on.
- 12:00 - 13:00 Lunch The half day program ends here.
- 13:00 - 14:30 Rest Those who sleep, sleep; the rest do something quiet. Nobody is made to nap.
- 14:30 - 15:30 English and music Play-based, three days a week each.
- 15:30 - 16:00 Afternoon snack Fruit and a light snack.
- 16:00 - 18:30 Garden and pickup A second garden hour, then a staggered pickup.
