We have grouped the questions that come up most often in enrolment meetings. If yours isn't here, call us and we'll answer on the phone.
Enrolment and settling in
When does enrolment open?
Enrolment for the September term opens in February. If places remain we also enrol during the year, and mid-year starters follow the same settling-in program.
What documents do you need?
A copy of the ID card, the vaccination record, a health report and four photographs. If there are allergies we add a doctor's report.
Is the trial day really free?
Yes. Your child spends a full day with us at no charge, and there is no obligation to enrol afterwards.
Is there a sibling discount?
We apply a 15% discount for the second child, valid for as long as both children are enrolled.
Daily life
What if my child doesn't want to nap?
Nobody is made to sleep. Children who stay awake read or do puzzles in the quiet corner beside the rest room.
Do you go outside in bad weather?
We go out in the rain with waterproofs and boots. We stay indoors only in storms, extreme heat, or below-freezing days.
Do you celebrate birthdays?
We hold a simple celebration in class. Please don't send cakes or gifts — the school prepares its own treat.
Can I call to check on my child?
Call any time. The class teacher will ring back between activities, and in an emergency you are put through immediately.
Health and safety
What happens if my child falls ill?
Our nurse makes the first assessment and we call you straight away if there is a fever or sign of infection. The medical room has a separate rest area.
Do you administer medication?
With a doctor's report and your written consent, under the nurse's supervision. Every dose is recorded and reported to you that evening.
How is entry to the building controlled?
There is card access at the door. Only the people named at enrolment may collect your child; if someone else is coming, we need notice in advance.
Do you run fire and earthquake drills?
Twice a year, framed so that it doesn't frighten the children. The building was reinforced to post-2012 regulations.
